Mike angrily mentioned, "Sunglass Hut's 24 month warranty was not honored. I had a small stress crack in one lens. Brought Ray Ban sunglasses to a store for replacement. I was told that even though that 24 month warranty was on their web site, it was really only one year. I was five days after one year because they were closed for Covid-19. I will not shop at Sunglass Hut again."

"Vamos pontuar por partes: -Supervisão: Este é um dos pontos mais falhos da empresa, a atual supervisão não tem nenhum preparo para a gestão, não existe gestão de pessoas, toda a decisão da atual supervisão é embasada em fofocas, na qual ela sempre optará por tomar como verdade a versão das pessoas na qual ela tem intimidade (que coincidentemente são a das gerências mais mal vistas por toda a empresa, no que tange a falta de verdade, e medidas anti éticas). -A supervisão não envia as metas e informações relevantes, e quando envia é com atraso e quando quer. Reconhecimento: Este é o fiasco da empresa, grandes talentos reconhecidos por toda a empresa perdem o gosto por trabalhar, pedem demissão e "adoecem neste clima tóxico", e os funcionários ruins, que nada tem a acrescentar ficam, sem fazer nada, ganhando créditos em cima de quem faz. A impressão que fica é que não e uma empresa para funcionários que tem ética profissional, aparentemente é uma empresa para quem gosta de trapaça, de mentira, de puxar o tapete, de ser totalmente o oposto do que se espera. A empresa não preza por nada, apenas pela faxada. O que e uma pena, pois tem grande nome e reconhecimento."

Very little training was given and most of it is online while you are trying to work. The workers knew more that the manager about running the store. There was not enough training done. I had to figure a lot of things out on my own. Its also very slow in business and the manager schedules herself at prime selling hours so you wont get any commission. I attempted to speak with the manager over the phone about some issues and shes hung up on me while i was talking . Very unprofessional and unpleasant."

He Made the working environment very hostile, wasn’t understanding with transportation difficulties and any scheduling issues employees needed to be corrected. Reduced hours, I had about 30 hours weekly and when he came I only got 6. The manager breathes down your sure. The only positive of this job was fellow co workers and enough store space. I also liked learning about the merchandise."

EQUILIBRIO VIDA PRIVADA / LABORAL Olvídate de hacer cualquier plan en solitario, y para los que tengan pareja ya será imposible... Los Store Managers se preocuparán más de estar super guapos y guapas que de organizar y gestionar bien su trabajo y a su equipo... Así que tendrás un horario constantemente cambiante que no te permitirá hacer nada... SALARIO BENEFICIOS CONTRACTUALES 350€ / Mes por 20 Horas Incluyendo domingos si es necesario. Para poder llegar a ganar 100€ de comisión deberás vender aproximadamente 100 gafas… Si les entras por el ojo, porque seas muy guapa, quizás te mejoren las condiciones. Podrás llevar 10 años en la empresa, que podrán ponerte a un store manager sin experiencia por encima tuya, cobrando 1500€, sin ninguna explicación...Las gafasPresión incesante y sin sentido por vender"

"Absolutely horrendous shopping experience with sunglass hut. Placed an order on 30th, says order processing for about a week. I contact customer services, they give a ‘brexit’ excuse and say it’ll be with me within 3 days. 3 days come and go and I email AGAIN, still say about brexit and can’t give me a date for delivery so I cancel my order. A day later my order is on the way and money been taken even though I cancelled it! Now it’s apparently my responsibility to call UPS to get the order sent back to the sunglass hut warehouse???!!! Never heard of something so backward! I’ve asked for complaints department details and been ignored... AVOID THIS SHAMBLES OF A COMPANY!!!"

I ordered a pair of Oakley's sun glasses got the confirmation email that my order will be ready in 2hours I went to the store 3 hours later they had no record of my order. Was told to call or email customer service or call I emailed and called got a recording that they will respond in 5 business days they should put that my order will be ready in 2 hours if it wont be ready for another 5 days"

"Really disappointed with Sunglass Hut. Went into their Sheffield Meadowhall store in early November 2020 and spent almost £200. I was informed the item would be delivered to my home in about 5 days time. Over the next few days I received regular updates regarding the delivery. The item never arrived, and had been returned back to Sunglass Hut by the courier for a reason I still don't understand. Due to Covid the store I bought them from was closed, but I live over 200 miles away so I wasn't able to go back to the store anyway. Over the next few weeks what could only be described as a total shambles ensued which involved Sunglass Hut's customer service department being unable see anything about my or order, or even contact their own store !!!. I was eventually able to go into the store two months later and the manager did in fact call me back the next day. He shared my view that Sunglass Hut and their customer service team are shambolic. They asked him to call me a few weeks earlier but they couldn't tell him who I was, what I wanted, or even what number to call me on - they of course had all those details !. Needless to say THREE months after buying the goods ( which I never got ) I am still nowhere near getting a refund because the store is now closed back down due to the latest Covid lockdown, and the store want me to go onto them so they can process my refund - I live 200 miles away!. Of core Sunglass Hut customer services department are just incompetent so they can't/won't do anything to help. Once I have my money back I won't be buying from them again. I don't blame the local store, they are significantly let down by their own support team."

"Honestly, this was one of my worst shopping experiences. I ordered online. My orders never said they were confirmed or on their way. Then, my order came separately at random times. Ultimately, I decided to return them and decided to do it in store to get my refund quicker. Needless to say, this did not happen. There were issues when I was returning it in store and there was no confirmation that it was returned. I was supposed to come back the next day for the manager. After talking to the manager, she believed my order went through because my order was no longer in the system. (I'm not trying to bash the store per say because they were as helpful as possible, but it has all contributed to my awful experience). After looking up my refund status online, it was completely unhelpful and didn't even have it recorded that I had even received one of the pairs of glasses. Of course they had charged me though. Anyway I reached out online and they said that they could see I made the return, but no money was being refunded. I was told they would do this. After reaching out to customer support an additional 2-3 times, I was continually promised that the money would be returned to my account. So after about 3 weeks and empty promises, I have yet to have received my money which was supposed to have happened maybe 3 days after the return. I do not plan on buying from this company ever again, and I am still hoping I get my money back."

"Nightmare right from purchasing the gift card to using them for ordering in the store as sunglass gift card cant be used online. Messed up the delivery with incomplete items. Customer service team unable to help so awaiting the details of their in store smart ordering team to resolve the issue. Their systems do not talk properly. Had to go to the shop to redeem the sunglass hut voucher. Glasses were not available. Store had different prices as to what was being displayed on their website. Store staff were trying to help but they were impaired by their systems too. A word of advice for potential buyers. Avoid them like a plague. "Like many others, I ordered my pais of sunglasses from Sunglass Hut and as they didn’t inform the complete address to UPS, my package was returned without any email or call from anybody. I contacted Sunglass Hut and explained what happened and placed a second order but it happened again! They are so careless! This would be a Christmas present and now I don’t have time to buy a replacement for it - they ruined it!!! I will never buy anything from them again and I strongly discourage everyone who is reading the reviews to buy from them! The worst company I have ever seen in the UK."

"Awful, glasses never arrived and now I may have to disappoint a loved one on Christmas Day. Sunglasses hut sent a part address to ups and my parcel was lost. Tracking link emailed to me didn’t work so I typed out the tracking number into the ups website to find it had been stuck for 6 days. I called sunglasses hut who said they would check with ups, got no response for the day so I rang ups myself and was straight through to find out it had been lost. I called sunglasses hut to let them know this and now waiting for my refund for an item never received which will take approx 7 days, and have to find myself a replacement present on Christmas Eve, save yourself the pain and choose another retailer. Given how many people have said the same thing in comments here about incomplete addresses, you’d think they might bother to fix it."

"If you're thinking about buying from Sunglass Hut...don't. Sunglass Hut sent an incomplete address to UPS so my order (which was purchased over a week ago) is still stuck with the delivery company. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. The tracking button/link in the confirmation email doesn't work. Luckily I have the 'Shop' app and was able to see the issue otherwise I would have been none the wiser. Avoid avoid avoid!"

"Like with others reporting back in this site..... UPS incorrect address - But the order confirmation had my full address (Less postcode) so it was Sunglasshut who got it wrong..... But I was told that the address supplied was incorrect..... Next the replacement will not be sent until original received back in Italy! So refund - no until items are returned - Customer service - Nope no escalation call as requested.... And it was a Christmas Present.."

"Foul service from assistant. Threatened with having security called because I disagreed with Assistant at Green Hills. Never been threatened with security being called in my life. Made phone complaint. No return call yet. I made the complaint 8 weeks ago. Be very, very sure when you purchase for they will search for blemishes. This happened in my case, (even though the assistant handled the glasses a number of times and offered me another pair from the wall, which could have been handled by any number of people)."
